John 6:65-67

⁶⁵ Jesus said, “That is the reason I said, ·‘If the Father does not bring a person to me, that one cannot come.’ [^L‘No one can come to me unless the Father enables/grants him.’]”

⁶⁶ After Jesus said this, many of his ·followers [disciples] ·left him [^Lturned back to previous things] and ·stopped following [^Lno longer walked with] him.

⁶⁷ Jesus asked ·the twelve followers [the Twelve], “Do you want to leave, too?”
